Enjoy amazing scenery, charming culture and welcoming people when you join one a Challenges Abroad program in Cambodia. Our hub is located in Battambang, a picturesque riverside city that really feels more like a country town. Fill your evenings with local cooking classes, a ride on the bamboo train, and a visit to the bat caves is an absolute must do! Just 3 hours from Siem Reap, you can’t forget Angkor Wat… sunrise is the best time to visit and leaves you with plenty of time to visit local markets or spas.

Cambodia’s troubled and violent history during the Khmer Rouge regime has led to numerous social and economic challenges that the country continues to address. Despite recent progress, many marginalized groups still lack the support they need to break the cycle of poverty. In order to help rebuild community capacity, our programs focus on improving education quality, impacting overall community health and raisin environmental awareness. Your skills, knowledge and passions are crucial in making a difference!

During your time in the Sacred Valley, you will be working alongside our charity, the FutureSense Foundation. Our FutureSense Peru team are based in the Valley year-round and work alongside the local community. This ensure that all of our challenges are meeting current community needs and are part of a long-term plan that aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. This means that your participation in a challenge makes a contribution that has an ongoing, positive impact in the community.
