In Peru’s spectacular Sacred Valley, you’ll work alongside local communities to deliver meaningful health promotion initiatives that empower people with the knowledge and confidence to build healthier futures. Every day is an opportunity to learn, connect, and make a genuine difference while experiencing one of the world’s most extraordinary destinations.
Many rural communities across the Sacred Valley continue to face challenges accessing quality health education and preventative healthcare. As part of this challenge, you’ll design and facilitate engaging workshops covering topics such as women’s health, nutrition, hygiene, mental wellbeing, and healthy lifestyles. You’ll also contribute to practical community projects that improve local environments and encourage healthier habits for generations to come.

Are flights included?
Flights aren’t included in the programme cost because many participants choose to extend their travels before or after the programme, so booking flights independently gives you the flexibility to arrange your own travel plans. It also works out more cost efficient if you book them. Don’t worry though, we’re here for support if you need us.
Do I need any previous experience or qualifications?
You don’t need any previous experience or qualifications to join most of our programmes. We provide comprehensive preparation and support before departure, as well as a detailed Programme Orientation on arrival in-country, ensuring participants feel confident and ready to contribute to the programme.
Can I raise money to fund my trip?
Absolutely! This is something we encourage you to do, and we’ll help you set up an official fundraising page so you can share it with your network to collect donations.
What is the accommodation like?
You’ll either be staying at our hub, or a local partner guesthouse in dorm-style accommodation, sharing your room with up to three other participants. There are western showers and toilets, as well as communal spaces for relaxing. While you will be provided with home comforts, they will be different to your usual standards and all part of the challenge!
