Set in the breathtaking mountains of the Sacred Valley, our Peru Hub is your launchpad for a truly transformative and sustainable travel experience! Here, you’ll be supported by our team as you engage with local partners to support projects that meet real community needs while deepening your understanding of Global Citizenship. From exploring vibrant towns like Urubamba and Ollantaytambo to uncovering the magic of Cusco – you might even tackle iconic adventures like Rainbow Mountain – this is where impact, culture and adventure collide. Every Challenges Abroad participant gets:
Leading up to your Challenge, you’ll have the full support of our team. From guidance on flights and visas, to packing tips – we’ll be here every step of the way. Around 6 weeks before you travel, we’ll also invite you to a pre-departure briefing where you’ll:

Once you’re registered for this Challenge, you will receive a Welcome Pack which will include guidance on arrival and departure times to help when booking your flights.
US passport holders do not need a visa for travelling to Peru – please let us know if you’ll be travelling on a different passport, and we can provide you with some more information on the visa application.
We recommend booking an appointment with your doctor so that they can review your vaccination history and make appropriate recommendations for what you might need when travelling to Peru.
We require all participants to have fully comprehensive travel insurance when travelling on our programs.
As accommodation, transport and food are provided during your Challenge, you will only need personal spending money for any additional adventures in your free time and for any souvenir shopping you might want to do!
