Thailand Global Citizenship Program

Challenge Snapshot

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

In Thailand, rural communities are significantly disadvantaged when it comes to education. Schools are underfunded, overcrowded and children are disengaged, leading to high drop-out rates.

This is where YOU come in…

Making an Impact

Inspire the next generation of decision makers!

Education builds the foundation of what we do across our Global Community. We believe that the best way to achieve positive change is by providing the next generation with access to quality education. By joining the team on this program, you’ll get to work on a range of awesome long-term education projects, some of which include:

Designing and facilitating conversational English sessions to improve children’s competency and confidence speaking English (a vital skill in helping them secure employment in the future)!

Designing and facilitating creative arts, life skills and environmental sustainability workshops that allow children to learn additional skills in a more engaging setting, developing their critical thinking skills and inspiring them in their education!

Working on infrastructure projects at our local partner schools to improve the facilities and create a safer and more conducive learning environment for children!

Participating in environmental sustainability activities with local schools such as community clean ups and tree planting! *

ENQUIRE NOW

This was one of my most rewarding experiences to date. I developed such close bonds with the students at the school and made many lifelong friendships with the people I travelled with. I would strongly encourage everyone to go on a trip like this.

What a humbling and eye opening experience it has been, teaching and learning from novice monks. It's been an amazing two weeks working alongside an awesome team.

The journey that I took with Challenges Abroad and the FutureSense Foundation has had a major impact on me and the way I view my life. It has taught me so many things and I definitely recommend to anyone who wants to leave their mark on the world!
