Our Impact in Fiji
Fiji remains vulnerable to the realities of climate change, and recovery from past storms has shaped many community priorities. Many villages face limited access to healthcare, clean water and sanitation, and reliable transport links to basic services. You’ll be able to use your time in this beautiful place to work with schools and community centres in the Sabeto village cluster, outside the town of Nadi.

Where You'll be Based
Set on the western coast of Viti Levu, Fiji’s largest island, the Sabeto village cluster sits between the striking Sleeping Giant mountain range and the cane fields of western Fiji. Known for its close-knit communities, it’s the perfect base for experiencing everyday Fijian life, with Nadi and its international airport close by.
Nearby, you can soak in the volcanic mud pools and geothermal hot springs at Sabeto, wander through the orchid-filled Garden of the Sleeping Giant, or hike at sunrise with views across the cane fields to the coast. Nadi has a local market and the stunning Sri Siva Subramaniya Temple, while Wailoaloa Beach and snorkelling in the Mamanuca Islands are a short trip away.
