As part of our Health Promotion Challenge, you’ll contribute to long-term community initiatives by designing and delivering engaging health promotion workshops to raise awareness of key topics such as hygiene, nutrition, and wellbeing. As you immerse yourself in daily life, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the challenges facing rural communities while helping to improve access to essential health education.
Through a mix of hands-on community initiatives, cultural experiences, and real-world learning, this program helps you develop valuable life skills, create unforgettable memories, and make a meaningful difference that extends well beyond your journey.

Are flights included?
Flights aren’t included in the programme cost because many participants choose to extend their travels before or after the programme, so booking flights independently gives you the flexibility to arrange your own travel plans. It also works out more cost efficient if you book them.
Do I need any previous experience or qualifications?
You don’t need any previous experience or qualifications to join most of our programmes. We provide comprehensive preparation and support before departure, as well as a detailed Programme Orientation on arrival in-country, ensuring participants feel confident and ready to contribute to the programme.
Can I raise money to fund my trip?
Absolutely! This is something we encourage you to do, and we’ll help you set up an official fundraising page so you can share it with your network to collect donations.
What is the accommodation like?
You’ll either be staying at our hub, or a local partner guesthouse in dorm-style accommodation, sharing your room with up to three other participants. There are western showers and toilets, as well as communal spaces for relaxing. While you will be provided with home comforts, they will be different to your usual standards and all part of the challenge!
