What if your greatest adventure also became your greatest achievement? In the foothills of the Himalayas, you’ll spend two weeks working alongside local schools in Palampur before taking on an unforgettable five-day trek through one of the world’s most spectacular mountain ranges. Combining meaningful community impact with an epic outdoor adventure, this is an experience that challenges you in all the right ways.
Many children in rural northern India face barriers to quality education, including limited resources and fewer opportunities for engaging, hands-on learning. Working as part of a team, you’ll design and deliver interactive workshops in conversational English, STEM, creative arts, environmental awareness, and life skills that build confidence, spark curiosity, and inspire young learners to dream bigger. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to small school improvement projects that create brighter, more welcoming learning environments.

Are flights included?
Flights aren’t included in the programme cost because many participants choose to extend their travels before or after the programme, so booking flights independently gives you the flexibility to arrange your own travel plans. It also works out more cost efficient if you book them.
Do I need any previous experience or qualifications?
You don’t need any previous experience or qualifications to join most of our programmes. We provide comprehensive preparation and support before departure, as well as a detailed Programme Orientation on arrival in-country, ensuring participants feel confident and ready to contribute to the programme.
Can I raise money to fund my trip?
Absolutely! This is something we encourage you to do, and we’ll help you set up an official fundraising page so you can share it with your network to collect donations.
What is the accommodation like?
You’ll either be staying at our hub, or a local partner guesthouse in dorm-style accommodation, sharing your room with up to three other participants. There are western showers and toilets, as well as communal spaces for relaxing. While you will be provided with home comforts, they will be different to your usual standards and all part of the challenge!
